Cultural Revolution Posters

Welcome: Cultural Revolution Posters
Description: The Cultural Revolution was a very tumultuous time for mainland China from 1966-1976. One interesting way to study that time is by looking at some of the propaganda posters used to promote Chairman Mao's ideas and policies. Students will choose a poster from that time period and analyze it by translating the poster's slogan and pointing out the important parts of the image.
