LET'S ROCK!!!

This webquest is aimed at students in 1º Bachillerato level (Spanish system).
Students in 1º Bachillerato are 16-17 years old and their expected level of
English would be intermediate.

I decided to design this
webquest as one of the didactic units planned for the course is about music, with a special emphasis on "The Beatles" and I thought it would be a nice way for them
to get to know some of the most important English music bands from the sixties, seventies and eighties.
Furthermore, students will also get in contact with some English cultural aspects, what life was like in the sixties and seventies and how youth has changed comparing it to youth nowadays. They are also invited to do some research on some more recent bands (Joy Division, The Smiths, The Cure...)

The
idea is for students to research in groups and do an oral presentation
of their final work at some point during the academic year (mine will be
doing this in the second term). The evaluation criteria are
stipulated on the "Evaluation Page".
