This RED was created in order to give a space where teenagers could found interesting information, playful music videos, and training's activities that pretend give you a such a great time while you do them. Although extensive content is found this just seeks to be reviewed by its information and not become a forced and boring job for the adolescent.

So, I personally invite you to have a look at it while you improve or reinforce your English level.

Standards

This didatic unit takes the basis introduced in the International Standards for Arts Education document presented by the College Board for the National Coalition for Core Arts Standards. Which ompiled and analyzed information on the arts education standards of thirteen countries and regions, including: Australia, Austria, British Columbia, China, Finland, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In addition, it presents a serie of statements that varied greatly in form and levels of specificity, but the overall themes that were most prevalent were:

  • The arts as tools for cultural understanding: understanding social, historical, cultural contexts ofworks from students’ own country and others.
  • The arts foster skills of critical and creative thinking and problem solving
  • The arts are a unique form of communication The arts cultivate pleasure and enjoyment, and foster a sense of well-being.

Finally, the document give  a country-by-country overview uisng charts of the arts education standards and expectations in each of the thirteen English- native regions.
