How long will this take my students?

The complete webquest is meant to take up to (2) 90 minute class periods. However, you are free to edit the webquest and remove components that do not work for you. 


Who can do this webquest? 

This WebQuest was meant for a 9th grade Physical Science class. However, depending on your curriculum and the needs of your individual students, you may find it useful for slightly older or younger students.

We used Missouri Learning Standards:

2.2.E.a Describe the force(s) that keep an object traveling in a circular path2.2.B.b Compare and describe the gravitational forces between two objects in terms of their masses and the distances between them
2.2.B.a Describe gravity as an attractive force among all objects
2.2.D.e Determine the overall effect of forces acting on an object at the same time 
 2.1.B.a Measure and analyze an object’s motion in terms of speed, velocity and acceleration  
 2.2.A.a Identify and describe the forces acting on an object   
 2.2.D.c Using information about the mass and acceleration of two objects, compare the forces required to move them
