Six Flags Physics WebQuest

So,  Wait, Ummm...What Are We Doing?

 During this WebQuest, you will be responsible for completing research questions related to rollercoaster and physics. After your research is completed, you will create a PowerPoint OR a Google Slides presentation to convince our principal to let us attend the field trip. 

What Technology Will I Use?

Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Chrome, Google Slides, EdPuzzle, Google Images

How Long is This Gonna Take? When Is it Due?

This project should be finished in two 90 minute class periods.

Can I Work with a Partner? A Group?

You can work by yourself or with one other person. If you work with a partner, you must each turn in your own research but you can do the Google Slides together and just turn in one presentation.

What Am I Gonna Learn? 

• You will be able to define potential energy, kinetic energy, mechanical energy, work, friction, velocity, positive and negative acceleration 
• You will be able to explain how these concepts relate to rollercoasters
• You will be able to give examples of these concepts on a roller coaster 

Are we really going to Six Flags?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahha

But if you want to bring me a funnel cake or cotton candy, or something, that would be pretty cool.
