Hello teachers!

I am so excited that you are getting your older kids composing.  Writing your own songs can be freeing and a unique way to express yourself.   While many students simply write a song and move on, a few students really take to composing.  I love seeing some of the creative songs my students come back with!  This step gets kids toes wet.  They are provided with a good amount of structure to make song writing just a bit less intimidating and from there they can have the confidence to do a lot more on their own.

If you have any questions or need some clarification, my email address is meyerkm2012@gmail.com.
