Focus: This Web Quest focuses the Dewey Decimal System and its creator.

 

Objectives/Goals: 


Students will discover who created the Dewey Decimal System.

Students will be able to describe the main categories of the Dewey Decimal System.

Students will be able to define a call number.

Students will be able to explain why the Dewey Decimal System is important.                 

 

Resources: 
 Internet Time Required: 3+1 day- 3 days for lessons and preparation (45 minutes each.)

Needs/Materials: Each student will need a computer, the web quest “Tornado in the Library.”
