Hanukkah

A webquest is a great way to get student's excited about learning. I have constructed this webquest with the focus on Hanukkah. I feel it is important for Jewish children to learn about their traditional heritage, the story behind the holiday and how Jews celebrate this holiday. This web quest will assist students with technical inquiry as they search for scavenger hunt answers using the web, follow the links to the videos, games and stories as well as utilizing the keyboard/computer to type a short story about what their family does on Hanukkah. 

A fun way for children to learn all about Hanukkah, what it means, who celebrates it, and what all it entails. I also added a website where I found games related to Hanukkah. This is included in the task and process as an extra is they have time after writing their short story, but it would be another great way for the children to become excited about the webquest before they begin.
