Lesson Objective: Given several different manipulatives, which
correspond with the life cycle of the butterfly, students will be able to
distinguish the different phases of the butterfly cycle from one another and
the order of those phases, with getting 4/4 of the different parts of the cycle
correct.

This lesson would take about 35 - 45 minutes to do in a classroom because it includes an informational video, researching and taking notes, playing a review game, and creating a diagram of the Butterfly Life Cycle.

I would advise teachers to give this Webquest to students to take home so that they can come to class with the Butterfly Life Cycle Diagrams done in order to give each of them the chance to explain their diagram and something they have learned about the Butterfly Life Cycle. If it were used in class I would tell the teacher to talk through the notes on the website with the students to make the note taking easier along with going through the review game with them so that they really understand what they are learning.
