Figurative Language in Song Lyrics

This Webquest was developed for 5th grade students as a part of a poetry/figurative language unit.  After studying different forms of figurative language and discussing a few song lyrics as a class, students were given time to listen through the provided songs and record the figurative language they found.  This assignment took approximately two hours.  Students were taken to the computer lab and were able to independently listen to the songs through the provided links.  They posted their evaluation to the blog already set up through our school.
