Plants

Students will be able to describe what items in the classroom are made by plants.  Match new vocabulary words together with the correct meaning.  Also the students will be able to discuss what plants need to survive.  Know what kinds of animals help plants live while benefiting from the plant.   Students can identify parts of plants by matching pictures.  The end goal of this project is to get the students thinking about plants and how the are a necessity to our environment.  The tools needed for this project is flower seeds, water, soil, pots, rulers, journals, internet, computers (laptops or tablets), green house (if available), bean seeds, zip lock bags, tape, paper towels, watering cans, and paper for the printer.
