Periodic Trends

In order to better understand the periodic trends, you will answer a number of questions and visit a few websites to observe changes in the following:

• atomic radius
• electronegativity
• electron affinity
• ionization energy

Once you have determined the the direction of the trend (Top to Bottom, Left to Right, etc.), additional links will be available to help you understand why those trends occur!  You will also be asked to demonstrate what you've learned through a quiz and group activity.
