Plant and Animal Adaptations AHES

Great!  I�m glad you�ve decided to help us update our virtual zoo. 

You and your partner are in for a fun ride. 

Before you choose a plant and an animal,  you�ll need to learn about adaptations. 

Learn about both kinds of adaptations.

Once you�ve got a handle on it,  you can choose your plant and animal and begin researching. 

Find out as much as you can so you can be an expert on your choices. 

When you�ve gathered enough information you will share it by creating a PowerPoint presentation.  Have fun and do your best!

Research Procedure

These are the steps you will follow to complete your online document, using Microsoft 365.

1. Write down each Essential Question on the Avid Cornell Document. 

2. Then select the 3 or 4 Key Words to use in your Search Engine.

3. Record your information you found from your Research on the Avid Cornell Document.

4. Copy and Paste the Site's Web Address into the Easy Bib, the online Bibliography citation site.

5. Record the Citation on your Avid Cornell Document

3.  Write a summary based on your notes.

4. After you have completed your Research, based on your Essential Questions, and the use of the Avid Cornell Documents, begin writing your Rough Draft of your Powerpoint.

5.  After you have written your Rough Draft,  select a Peer to help you Revise and Edit your work.

6.  After you have made corrections to your paper, log into Microsoft 365 to type in your information using Powerpoint Online.   Make sure your find, copy, and paste the selected pictures in your document.  Be

creative.

6. Once you have completed typing your Rough Draft for your Powerpoint, "Share" your document with your teacher so she can Review and help you make corrections.
