Animals in our Life

You can work in groups "Lovers of Nature and Animals".

Your task is:

- to search the Internet and find the information about the places where animals live, how people should behave, when they are at the Zoo or in the circus;

- to write a composition about your favourite pets and other animals;

- to creat a PowerPoint presentation and publish it on the Sliderocket service;

- to creat a glog about Cat Theatre;

- to read the texts and do the tasks.

  Each person in your group will have an important role in the success of your project.  

     Role 1– Historian - This member of your group will be responsible for researching and reporting on the history of the Zoo in Shymkent , the circus and national parks .

     Role 2– Photographer - This member of your group will be responsible for collecting photographs of animals. Of course, your product will be much more attractive with photos, so collect as many as possible to make your product the most interesting one.

     Role 3– Editor - This member of your group will be responsible for choosing, arranging and checking the information that other students have found.

       Role 4 -  Educator/Guide – This member of your group interprets the collections of Zoos, parks and circuses for guests of all ages in various program formats, and presents and cares for the animals assigned.

Role 5 - Park Tour Guide – this member leads tours in the big field habitats at the National Park from the back of a truck.

    Having done the tasks of the Web-quest, you’ll learn about the life of some wild and domestic animals, which live on the planet and in Shymkent region, about the rules of your behavior in Zoos and Circuses,  and so on.

   This knowledge will help you to become real friends of your pets.

    The final result of your cooperation should be a completed  PowerPoint presentation (or a Prezi), slide-show, a glog, a newspaper, magazine, a film. 

    Any project created in the Internet with the help of Web 2.0  will be the result of your work. 

    I dream, that there won’t be no people among visitors and participants of our quest who are indifferent to animals.
