California Geographic Regions
Explore
Pretend that you are leading an exploration through California. The land is vast and uninhabited, and you are looking for a region to settle your people. As you explore the regions, record in your journal at least two important landforms, three common plants, three common wild creatures, and the climate particular to each region.
After you finish your journey through California, draw a landscape of each of California's regions. Make sure to include in your drawing the landforms, plants, creatures, and indication of the climate.
*Your end product will be your journal, illustrations, and one paragraph identifying which region you chose to settle in and the reasons explaining your choice.*
