California Geographic Regions
Process
1. Label your journal like the example. Make sure you have your journal with you.
2. Watch the video called "What is a Region?"
3. Watch the video called "California's Four Regions."
4. Optional: Listen to the song about California's Regions.
5. Explore links for each region, recording important information as you discover it.
6. You must include the criteria listed on the Task page, but you're not limited to that. If you find other interesting geography facts, you can include them in your discussion paragraph, explaining the region you chose to settle.
* Sometimes you might find that the coastal region is divided into Northern Coast, Central Coast, and Southern Coast. You can choose to study the Northern Coast and Southern Coast OR combine them into one coastal region.
