Rebuild a Shore House!

To get ready for this assignment, you both will need to show that you have the mathematical skills it takes to be an architect. Since you need to know the dimensions of the house and rooms, you will have to show your knowledge of perimeter, area, and volume.  You will design a floor plan for a one-story house. This house must include a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and at least one bedroom. You can add more to your house, such as more bedrooms, miscellaneous rooms (game room, study), a pool, or even a fence around your house. You must keep in mind that you have a budget of $5,000 and each square foot costs $2.00. Your final project will include a floor plan with the area and perimeter of your house and each room inside, as well as the total volume of the house.
