Riots, Rebels, and Noise: Listening to 20th Century Classical Music

We are going to explore three key concepts of 20th century classical music by reading about and listening to music by three composers.  We will also see how this music and these musical concepts relate to popular music.

The task will be in four parts.  Parts 1-3 explore three classical music concepts and composers through brief readings and listening examples.  Part 4 asks you a series of questions about the concepts and how they relate to the music you heard.
