Nurse Fatigue

During this WebQuest you will be asked to visit a website to determine your level of fatigue or sleepiness. You will also view a list of possible causes and effects of fatigue within and outside of the workplace. From that list you will determine your own personal causes of fatigue. Then you will be asked to collaborate with at least three people you work closely with to determine each others signs and symptoms of fatigue. Recognition of fatigue in co-workers is important for the safety of your patients and yourself. During your group collaboration the group will discuss general causes of fatigue and ways to prevent and manage it. Finally you will develop your own personalized plan of action with realistic interventions to prevent and manage fatigue.
