Understanding Values

Your task is to create an online personal values poster and a collective group Wordle to showcase your shared values. To do this, you will first venture in small groups through an assortment of values to get a better understanding of the meanings and implications of values. Next, you will read through a collection of short stories and poetry to determine which values are present in the characters of the stories. After reading each short story or poem, answer the questions on the worksheet for that work. You will then go through the list of values and figure out what is important to you. Individually, you will create an online poster to showcase your personal values. In small groups, you will combine your values into a Wordle (like the one shown above) to showcase your shared values for the class.
