Biomes Around the World!

First, you will be put into groups based on which biome you want to research. 

Second, your group will work together using the given websites and any books you may want to find, to research your biome.  You will be given a worksheet to help you organize your information. 

Then, your group will use the information you gathered to create a poster about your biome similar to the one at the top of the page.  Your poster will include information and pictures about the animals, plants, climate, location, and some fun facts of your biome.  You will also create a food chain that could be found in your biome and describe why certain organisms in your biome are adapted to live in that environment. 

Finally, you will present your poster to the class.  Remember to be creative.  Your job is to persuade the class to pick your biome as the one that would be the most fascinating to visit!
