Council of the European Union

A panel of five student - experts has been set up to explain issues related to Council of the European Union. As a very good pupil you have been appointed to this team. As a group, you are supposed to run  few meetings organized by headmasters of several Warsaw high schools and explain the audience all relevant issues concerning Council of the European Union.

The participants should be informed about history of  the Council of European Union, its legal status, Council configurations, organization and its internal structure, Council’s powers and functions, and its decision making process. Students should be given examples of information sources. You are expected to quote relevant EU documents. The meeting will be attended by conspicuous for their knowledge high school students interested in history, foreign policy, diplomacy and economy.

The whole presentation should last about 20 minutes. You will also prepare a computer slide show to enhance your talk.
