TRACK AND FIELD (Throw EVENTS)

Step 1: Watch the videos in order and take notes. Make sure to label the video you are taking notes on and write anything you believe could be useful. Answer any additional questions under the videos.

Step 2: Attempt the steps shown in the videos. Act as if you are the person being told in the videos what to do. Repeat this two to three times or until you feel you can complete the steps properly.

Step 3: Collect any material needed to throw like a Discuss. Use the throwing ring, to practice. Make sure a throwing coach is there to help asses the practice.

Step 4: With a coaches guidance, attempt the steps in the videos with a disc. DO NOT THROW UNTIL YOUR COACH SAYS YOU CAN! Make sure to always pay attention of your surroundings. The Discuss is heavy and can be dangerous if accidentally dropped or thrown.

Step 5: Once your coach has signaled to attempt a full throw, you may do so.
