What's Up with Wind Energy

Your team will find the answers that Mr. Windy needs to understand a few things about producing electricity with wind power. Later, the entire team will work together on a  Google slide presentation that will be delivered to him. Mr. Windy likes short presentations, so keep the presentation to no more than 7 to 8 slides and the title slide with your team name and logo. . Each member of the consultant team will need to present at least two slides from the teams presentation. Below are a list of questions Mr. Windy may want answers to. Below each question is a link to the resources that may help you answer the questions. Feel free to utilize any other resource to answer the questions. It's up to your team to be prepared for Windy!


Setting up your Team

             Your first step is to meet with your team of consultants to create a name and logo for your team.

                 In your Science Folder in Google Drive, create a new FOLDER and name it "WIND PROJECT"

                In the Folder create a new google slide presentation named "Group Wind Presentation "

                Share with partners. Create a title slide that includes the team name, logo and group members names


Background Research 

          Find the new document in your Science Folder titled "Wind for Windy". Move it to your WIND PROJECT folder

        Take notes to answer the questions in the document and add any photos or diagrams.
