The Founding Fathers: Revolutionary Inventors
Process
Step One: Who was a Founding Father?
- What does it mean to be a Founding Father?
- What did a person have to do to be called a Founding Father?
- A bowl containing pieces of paper with names on them will be passed around the room.
- Each student will chose a piece of paper from the bowl.
- The name on the piece of paper will contain a name of one of the Founding Fathers. This will be the Founding Father that your group will research.
- Students will then pair up with the other student that drew the same name. This will be your research team.
- Print out the provided graphic organizer to use during your webquest.
- Find important information about your Founding Father.
- What were his accomplishments?
- What were his inventions?
- Here are links to explore in your research of your Founding Father.
