1.  After you've chosen your two composers, begin by making an outline of each profile.  The outline should include the following headings:

I.  Picture
II.  1-2 paragraph Biography
III.  Musical background (school, teachers, instrument etc)
IV.  Composing resume (commissions, number of pieces, genres)
V.  List of notable wind band pieces
VI.  Links to 2-3 YouTube recordings or live performances of your composers works.
VII.  List the URL's to the sites you reference at the end of your project

2.  Complete each section of your Profiles in a Word, Publisher or other word processing document.  Be creative with the layout of each profile.  Make them visually appealing while containing all the required information.

-Find copyright free pictures from Google images to use as a "profile picture" of your composers.
-Gather your biographical information from the web links below.
-Search YouTube for the best quality performances or recordings of the notable pieces.
-Copy these links into the last section of the profiles
-Along with the links to each work, include the following information:

Title, Publisher, year published and location.  Also include a brief 3-4 sentence historical context or background on each piece.

3.  Convert both completed profile documents to PDF files.  To do this, go to the print menu and chose "convert to PDF" as shown in the photo below.
