Young Goodman Brown

You will be able to understand the genre and plot of Nathaniel Hawthorne's "Young Goodman Brown." You will read the story, analyze the plot, examine the personalities of the characters in the story, and observe the overall emotion that Hawthorne is expressing in the story. You will choose a character and rewrite their dialogue in a modern way. You have the option of performing the scene solo or with another classmate.
