Process

The time within the 6 week period is your own, however it is strongly suggested that you spend time outside of school at home to complete the task. Links will be provided for students to complete the task. The content studied in class will help you think about different ways sound can be manipulated in music. We will also be studying the poetry behind rap, so it will help in the lyrics part of this WebQuest. Students will be expected to contribute to every part of the process, input in the production of the samples, the lyrical writing and the blogging. These activities can be undertaken in whichever order suits, the only thing set in stone is the performance in Week 6.

Week 1
Get into groups of 3 and begin preparing ideas.
Assign jobs for each person, or do it as a team.Collaboration is about communication. Keep detailed notes about what was discussed and post on the blog weekly.

Week 2-5
Learn how to use download the provided musical samples and Audacity

Musical samples will be provided on 4shared, easily accessible from home. Otherwise ask the teacher for the USB with all the samples on it to download at school.
