Process

Directions:  Complete each task.  You will need to use the WebQuest notes organizer to record your responses and any other information you think is important or interesting.  For each answer, use complete sentences and make sure you add enough information. This will save you time in the future.

TASK ONE:  View THIS presentation about Mythology from around the world.  Copy down appropriate notes on your graphic organizer.

TASK TWO:  View THIS collection of information about the Greek gods and goddesses.  Read each sheet carefully, then copy down the following information on your graphic organizer for each god and goddess:

-  Greek Name
-  Latin/Roman Name
-  God of....
-  Family Relationships (i.e. brother of Zeus)
-  Symbol
*If you need more room, copy information on a separate sheet of looseleaf and attach to the packet before you turn it in for grading.

Task Three:  Quick "Brain Break" from all that learning--at least a break for the left side of your brain.  Now, we want to activate the right side, the creative side.  Bumper stickers are an expression of people's beliefs and interests.  Choose 5 of the 15 gods/goddesses about whom you just learned.  Create a bumper sticker, complete with a picture and a quote, that could go on each of your chosen gods' chariots.  Then, explain how your bumper sticker relates to the god/goddess.  Look HERE for an example. *NOTE- This is also to be completed on your graphic organizer.

Task Four:  View this PREZI on mythology in the modern world.  Record your answers.  Then search THIS WEBSITE to find ten more examples of your own, that were not included in the presentation.

Task Five:  View the Planets and Mythology PowerPoint.  Read through each slide and record information on your graphic organizer as necessary.
