For thousands of years, people have been trying to explain things they have difficultly understanding. Before science, technology, and experimentation, ancient societies used stories to give meaning to the mysteries of the world. In this unit, you are asked to think like the gods. You have been tasked with writing a new and original Greek myth to explain everyday life as we know it. Along your journey, you will learn about the all powerful Greek god and goddesses, heroes, and other myths that have been already written. To help you along the way, you will view other myths, from both past and present. Pay attention to the major similarities that each myth has, for it will help you to write you own myth.
