Wal-Marts have become very prevalent in the American society. There are mixed views about the further development of this business throughout this nation and the world. Currently, Wal-Mart has 8,500 stores in 15 countries, including Mexico, India, Japan, Brazil, Canada, and of course the United States of America. The company employs about 2.1 million people and brings in a net income of over 14 billion dollars a year. There is much controversy associated with the company, as people try to decide how beneficial or detrimental it is for a community.  All companies effect the environmental, economic, and political aspects of the area it becomes a part of.
