The Holocaust was a dark event during World World II in which Jewish people were killed in mass genocide. Anne Frank was a young girl who lived during the Holocaust. Her family spent years in hiding until they were eventually discovered and sent to concentration camps. Anne later died of disease. After her death, her father (the only surviving member of her family) uncovered her diary and it was turned in to a book for the masses. In this WebQuest, you will discover the horror of the Holocaust and learn about the life of Anne Frank. In dissecting Anne Frank's life, you will also discuss the deeper signifance that she had in history. Although things as appalling as the Holocaust are hard to learn about, "those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it" -George Santayana.
