This webquest is to educate students on the Tainos origin and their settlements.

The Origin and Settlement of the Tainos

You will be working in groups of five  (5) to demonstrate  the migratory pattern of the tainos, at the end of the presentation you will be quiz on the migratory route and history of the tainos.

The Taíno were an Arawak people who were the indigenous people of the Caribbean and Florida. At the time of European contact in the late 15th century, they were the principal inhabitants of most of Cuba, Jamaica, Hispaniola (the Dominican Republic and Haiti), and Puerto Rico.
