In this webquest, you will be taking the first steps towards being a forensic DNA expert by learning about an analysis technique called electrophoresis and practicing the procedure.  You will use information collected in this quest to solve a theft case.

After completing this quest, you will work with your lab partner in class to solve a crime by completing an actual gel electrophoresis.
