Introduction
Civic engagement means participating in the political process, defending your rights and those of others, standing up for what you believe to be right, and making your voice heard. Adults have the opportunity to participate and engage in the political process in many ways, especially in a country like America, but don't always do so. Without civic engagement, democracy, government by the people, becomes lost. One step at a time, our rights are lost. Our freedom is lost.
