Classifying Polygons
Introduction
Take a few second to look at the polygons at the top of this page. The one on the left should look something that you see almost every day, in fact you probably saw one on the way to school this morning! Did you guess a stop sign, one of our most commonly used octagons? Good job! Now take a look at the polygon on the right. What would you say if I told you that polygon is also an octagon?
Today you are going to see a bunch of polygons, regular or irregular, and be able to name them.
