Introduction
Cookies! My family loves to make and eat chocolate chips cookies made from scratch (in other words, not from a mix). Many people think making cookies from scratch is too hard, but, it's easy if you know the secret. Shhh, come close and and I will tell you. The secret is mixing the ingredients in the right order. If you follow directions and mix the ingredients in the correct order, you will turn out fabulous cookies every time.
Guess what? The same secret works with math. By following the order of operations, working problems in the correct order, you will get the right answer every time.
