The Ethics of Food

One of the fundamental needs of humanity, no matter who we are or where we live, is food. As we have seen in films such as Food Inc.and Super Size Me, food and its manufacture and distribution is a complex issue that has considerable  impact. 

Here in the United States,our food culture is in a dynamic period. Much of this change is due to health crises such as obesity, diabetes, and heart disease, all of which are connected to our food choices. 

We are beginning to think more critically about what we eat, where it comes from, and who grew it.
