Both tasks will be marked, however, more weight will be given to the pamphlet you create.
Task One
You will be given a mark out of 3 dependent upon the clarity and insight provided in your answers. More marks will be given for well developed answers that demonstrate the student's ability to connect ideas and relate them to real-life situations.
Task Two
Marks for the pamphlet are broken down into 3 categories: content, organization and creativity and visual appeal. You will receive a maximum of 3 marks for each category.
Content: Try to include all of the core concepts that are listed in the introduction. To receive full marks for content, you should be able to link concepts and summarize them together, rather than have one heading for each concept.
Organization: The information in your pamphlet should be organized in a way that flows in a logical order. For example, it would not make sense to include ways to get help before explaining the signs of domestic abuse.
Creativity and Visual Appeal: Your pamphlet should capture the reader's attention and clearly identify what the pamphlet is about. It should be pleasing to the eye and follow a consistent format. For example, using the same font throughout, using bullets for all listed information, etc.
