Evaluation

20130724011733qaDyG.jpg

The shooting process will be graded on four different levels:

  1. Beginners
  2. Needs Work
  3. Above Average
  4. Excellent

If you fall in the "beginners" category on a step don't worry.  It takes practice to become a good shooter.  Just keep working hard and developing your skills and you can become a great shooter!

If you fall in the "needs work" or the "above average" category, that means you understand all of the concepts involved in that portion of the shooting skill.  Keep practicing and honing your skills and that will fix the minor problems in your shot.

If you grade out as an "excellent" in a particular section that means you have performed the skill to perfection.  This shows that you understand the concept and you have trained your body to shoot the basketball in the way coaches want it.  Now take that perfect form and continue to shoot to become a great shooter!
