Bully Busters
Evaluation
You will now be assessed on what you have learned about bullying in this webquest.
There are 2 assessments:
Assessment 1 – Bullying Plays (small groups) Assessment 2 - Brochure (individual)
You will work in a small group to create and act out a play about bullying which you will perform to your class. Each group should consist of 6 people, with a mixture of boys and girls.
Create a play which demonstrates one of the types of bullying:
1. Physical
2. Verbal
3. Emotional/Social
4. Cyberbullying
The play should should your understanding of the different types of bullying and how to handle the situation.
Play advice - make sure you have the following:
1. A scenario for the type of bullying
2. Characters names
3. A realistic solution to the situation
4. Props and costumes
5. Several acts/scenes

You will create a brochure about bullying aimed at primary school kids. First, find out more about how to create a brochure by working through the following interactive -

Look at the following documents in the resources section below which will help you with your brochure:
1. Example Brochures 1, 2 & 3 - these examples will show you some bullying brochures.
2. How to Write a Brochure - this sets out all the required elements your brochure will need.
3. Brochure Template - print this template to use for your first draft copy.
4. Brochure Rubric - your teacher will use this rubric to mark your brochure.
Your teacher will now give you computer lab time to start creating your brochure. Go to "Microsoft Publisher" and choose a brochure template.
Consider the following points -
1. Audience – write your bullying brochure for primary school students.
2. Topics – your brochure should contain information on these topics:
· What is bullying?
· Types of bullying
· Who is a bully?
· Are you a bully?
· Who is a target?
· How to handle bullying
· Where students can go for help or information
