"Setting" into A Separate Peace

Now that you have completed this assignment, you will be able to set yourself into the time period of John Knowles's novel, A Separate Peace. You now have background information about what was going on in the world and on the homefront during the time period that this novel took place. Through your research and knowledge gained, you will now be able to connect with the characters as you read.

HOMEWORK: Your letters are due at the beginning of class tomorrow. However, do not turn in your letters when you get to class- you will need a hardcopy for the in-class activity. (Remember to turn them in at the end of class though!)
