Ancient Egypt

Ancient Egyptian civilizations have made a deep impact on our history and the way we live. We have learned much about the people from their temples, tombs, and other artifacts. Egyptians developed the first accurate calender and used a lunar (based on the moon) of about 360 days. Egyptians also invented the world's first paper from papyrus. (The word paper comes from the Greek word papyrus).

Some of the gifts to the world from Ancient Egyptians include art, architecture, and learning.

Throughout this project, learners will be able to appreciate and develop an understanding of their many accomplishments. They will also be able to know the importance that the Egyptians placed on their various gods and goddess.
