Thisunit was based on the topic energy. Energy, is the capacity for doing work. It may exist in potential, kinetic, thermal, electrical,chemical, nuclear, or other various forms. There are, moreover, heat and work therefore, energy in the process of transferfrom one body to another. After it has been transferred, energy is alwaysdesignated according to its nature. Hence, heat transferred may become thermal energy, while work done may manifest itself in the form of mechanical energy. The law of conversion of energy isone of the fundamental laws of Physics. It states that energy can neither becreated, nor destroyed. It is merely transferred from one form to another. Itimplies that in a closed system, the net total energy will always remainconstant. Energy is the buildingblock of all activities in the universe. Anything we do requires energy. Assuch, it is important to understand what exactly energy conversion means, howit works and what are the consequences of it
