Once presentations are done, I want you to vote on which Arrondissement you would most like to visit, based on your classmates presentations. I also want you to write two reasons why you would like to visit that Arrondissement above the others. Is it the food? The museums? The monuments? The parks?
Now that you are an expert in the arrondissements of Paris, think about how they are similar to neighborhoods in American cities. Do they have the same set-up? Do they have similar places? What do French people enjoy doing in their leisure time that is similar to Americans? Different from Americans?
Now that you have closely investigated the inner workings of Parisian "neighborhoods," has your interest in Parisian life increased? Do you want to know more about the French culture and get more information on daily life in French cities?
