At the end of this webquest, students will be able to:

  • Make judgements about the relationship between civil rights activists and the Federal Government, in this case the Kennedy Administration
  • Use the English language to accomplish difficult tasks such as considering different perspectives and demonstrating insight and knowledge about the problems connected to segregation in the U.S.A
  • Develop a deeper knowledge about Martin Luther King and American  society in the 60's
  • Demonstrate a new awareness of legal and human rights issues, which will help them develop a deeper understanding of current events in society and their historical roots.
