La Television Francaise

Now that you have discovered French TV programming, how does it compare to your local television? What do you think of the influence of American culture on the French people? Is there any French influence on our TV or movie experience? Do you know any Americam movie that was a remake of a French movie?

Many intellectuals in French want to “preserve the French culture” from the assaults of Hollywood by limiting  the number of American TV shows on French television and even limiting the number of English words used in everyday French conversations. Do you think we should we try to protect cultures from other cultures?
