Welcome: Royal Gemstones in Poetry
Description: This WebQuest addresses adult learners of C1-C2 CEFR level. Students are invited to travel through the world of contemporary poetry to collect 3 gemstones on behalf of the Queen and discover their symbolism. The poems also invite students to discuss the current social issues of self-harm, tattoos and art. The WebQuest focuses on the promotion of collaborative work, critical thinking, as well as the four basic language skills. It also asks students to reflect on their own work as they have to evaluate themselves in the end.
