Description: This WebQuest will provide discovery and Inquiry activities for the common core standards that address the four seasons for second grade Science explorers. The activities presented here will use concepts from common core standards for 2nd grade Science which will help students discover why seasons change as they learn to use and identify tools to use that help monitor these changes. Various animals associated with the seasons will be discussed using the life cycles and their habitat and preparation characteristics during the seasonal changes. This WebQuest will use best practices to serve all students as it gives the scientific reasons for why our seasons change. Integrated assessments are present throughout the exercises so it meets inclusion requirements and provides Fun,facts and inquiry opportunities for a diverse group of learners in 2nd grade.
