Principle of Moments

This lesson was created for students to showcase their application and knowledge of moments in a given situation. This activity would take approximately 30 minutes in groups of 3-4 students.

This activity was used to generate students' awareness on using an everyday object. They will require prior knowledge on forces and moments. An activity like this, makes it a memorable experience should they be in a situation where they need to close a door from an intruder.

Standards

        This activity is appropriate for Form 2-3 Integrated Science students. Moments is covered in the NCSE Syllabus.
